SDV International Logistics achieves its ambitions in the United States.

SDV International Logistics – a member of the Bolloré group – is confirming the international development strategy it launched by taking over Airlink in India in 2005, and JE Bernard in Great Britain in 2007. The group is now strengthening its position on a key market and developing its capacity to offer solutions on worldwide levels.

To meet the requirements of customers whose problematics are resolutely international, the SDV Group has decided to reinforce its position on the North-American market and has pleasure in announcing its acquisition of the U.S. company Pro-service.

Complementarity of talent

Founded in 1979, Pro-service possesses 7 agencies based in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Houston, Miami, Seattle, and Chicago and employs 100 people. It generates a turnover of 50 million dollars, relying 50% on its expertise in aerospace with the other 50 % in the domain of high tech and the automobile industry. Pro-service teams’ expertise in aerospace will provide support to the know-how already possessed by SDV USA and whose professionalism in this domain is already well-recognised. Aerospace is already one of the star products in SDV’s international network. The takeover will increase the Group’s market share in the United States. Established in the USA for almost 40 years now, today, SDV possesses 14 agencies there, with 350 employees, and is one of the world’s 15 leading groups in transport and logistics.

The alliance between experts and resources and their complementarity will increase every work-group’s know-how and provide maximum benefits to the customers of both companies.Through this investment, the Bolloré Group, SDV International Logistics’ parent company is pursuing its growth objectives by integrating particularly state-of-the-art companies into its network and is confirming its ambitions to become a major player in international logistics.
