Customs formalities :
Customs formalities in East Timor can be a little
complicated as new systems are progressively put in place and
the current regulation is regularly updated. SDV is the largest

of the customs regulations.
Most sensitive are cargoes requiring exemption of customs duties.
Not all donation cargoes are automatically exempt of duties, and
it is important for the shipper to contact SDV East Timor to confirm
under which conditions he can claim exemption of duties for his
cargo.
