After the Myanmar Nargis cyclone, our teams were entitled by the Canadian Red Cross to carry 2,000 shelter kits and 4,000 tarpaulins from Bangkok (Thailand) to Rangoon (Myanmar). Cargo arrived on a Canadian Air Force aircraft to Bangkok and was partially loaded in an AN 12 aircrafts for Rangoon. Three rotations were performed until all the cargo was smoothly cleared and delivered to the Red Cross Myanmar delegation.
