New ways to sustainable development
As part of its handling activities, SDV OPE in Sete (France) develops its services for an oil production factory, used for manufacturing of biofuel.
Since February 2007, our teams take delivery and unload the barges of colza arriving from the region of Lyons to Sete on the Rhone. In 2008, new operations were entrusted to us : export of cakes of colza reserved to the animal food. As of today 18,700 tones were loaded in ships bulk carriers. Since last summer, we also took over the unloading of seeds of colza from the Black Sea which represents 60,000 tons.
