India-Kenya : a network synergy

Following the request of the main brewery of East Africa, SDV Air Link through its Mumbai agency (India) and SDV Transami through its Nairobi teams (Kenya) have organized the transport of 90 000 kg of advertising materials.

This brewery wished to set up, for the end of year, a marketing operation using crown caps. In the middle of November, SDV International Logistics was contacted to organize the transport of these elements in short delays: everything had to be delivered before Christmas.

The transport took place during the first 2 weeks of December with the cooperation of an important Kenyan airlines company. A SDV International Logistics Kenyan employee supervised the loading operations at India airport.

Thanks to our local teams, the expedition was cleared under emergency procedures the day of its arrival whereas normal delays for this custom formality are from 2 to 3 days.

The goods have been delivered in time. A great performance realized thanks to the synergy between the different teams of the Group.
