Major changes in °SDV Spain's Management

During the last years, TIBA / °SDV Spain's business has performed very well, partly thanks to the cooperation with its excellent agents network. SDV IL is about to strengthen its Senior Management in order to better serve its customers and increase its leadership in the Spanish market. In this sense,  °SDV IL has made some major changes i °SDV Spain's Management.
 
As from August 1st, Mr Willy Boers was promoted to Corporate Development Manager.
Mr Boers has a successful career within the Romeu Group, previously holding management positions in Tunisia, in the Canary Islands and presently in Valencia.
His main duties will be to develop and strengthen the relationship with  °SDV worldwide as well as improving ocean freight rates in coordination with  °SDV centralized purchasing division.
He also still holds the Valencia branch manager position, although the sales and administration issues are handled by Javier Romeu and Vicente Requena respectively.
 
Effective September 1st, Mr Joaquin Arnaiz has joined the company as Corporate Airfreight Manager.
Joaquin has an extensive experience in the air cargo industry, having worked in the GSA side for companies like Japan Airlines, Varig, Swissair or US Airways.
Based in Madrid, he is expected to give  °SDV Spain's aircargo business a substantial push, designing sales strategies, improving buying rates and coordinating with  °SDV aircargo staff worldwide.
He will report to Javier Romeu, Vicente Requena and Francisco Romeu.
 
Mr Javier Romeu, Corporate Sales Manager, will concentrate on the strategy, sales and marketing, coordinating daily with Willy. Besides, Vicente Requena, chief financial officer, manages the financial, accounting, administration and human ressources side of the business.
They both report to Mr Francisco Romeu while they coordinate the work of both Mr Boers, Mr Arnaiz and the branch managers.
