Engine and equipments
For the account of Wärtsilä Finland oy, our "Industrial Projects" team has organised the "door to door" transportation of all pieces of equipment destined to the Tanesco power station on the site of Ubungo in Tanzania. More than 25000 m3 of material, including 12 x 135 tons engines, have been shipped from Finland and India to the power station 30 kilometers from Dar es Salaam. For the transportation of these engines, our tanzanian teams used their own newly purchased 12 lines "Nicolas" trailer as well as the necessary special handling equipment for their transfer on a 40 meters distance up their final foundation blocks. A success for our team, as our client expressed his entire satisfaction for this performance.
