Nice agency : a 360° project

In January, SDV International Logistics through its Nice agency, organised the transport of 4 parcels weighting 113 tons of mechanical material for a world leading company of the offshore oil and gas industry.

Nice teams were selected within the "Capixaba” project, name of the FPSO * that is in final stage of construction on a shipyard in Singapore.

At the beginning, the quotation was only for the transport between Toronto (Canada) and Singapore airports. With the expertise of our Oilfield teams of Nice and to our international network, our client choose a door-to-door operation with only one supplier: SDV international Logistics.

For this operation, we took important measures. Oilfield department of Nice chartered an AN 124, the biggest cargo plane for a commercial use, and also cooperated with Toronto agency to use a 747F.

This 360° operation has been a real success thanks to the professionalism and to the coordination of our teams.
