Ma Ying Primary, New School for New Hope

After the Sichuan earthquakes, about 90% classrooms of Ma Ying Primary School were destroyed. There were no classrooms for studying, no offices for working and all the students were pressing for continuation of their classes. Now partially thanks to the staff of SDV International Logistics in China we got some good news.

The Ma Ying Primary School teaching building which is being re-built with funds from SDV’s staff in China is nearing completion and can be put to use in October 2009.  The workers who are responsible for the construction are going for a final sprint for ensuring that the project can be completed as quickly as possible.

Currently the students and teachers are still attending classes in the prefab classrooms while our team has feels the impact of construction delays caused by a large number of rainfall during July and August this year triggering frequent power outages.

Last month SDV International Logistics received a second appreciation letter from all students and teachers of the Ma Ying Primary School, thanking us for our support and concern.
