Dec.13, 2011 - Bluewater Appoints SDV East Timor for Its Logistic Support Operations

SDV East Timor has been awarded a contract by Bluewater to provide a supply base and a supply vessel to support the operations of the FPSO Glas Dowr in the Kitan field located approximately 500 kilometers off the Australian coast and 250 kilometers South of Dili, capital of East Timor.

Bluewater is a worldwide specialist in Floating Production (FPSO/FSO) and Mooring technology. The ’Glas Dowr’ is the fifth out of six Bluewater designed, built, owned and operated FPSO around the world.

This contract marks the first time a major oil & gas operator has decided to conduct long term logistic support operations from East Timor.


	Orders are coming from suppliers mostly based in Singapore and Australia to Dili, stored in SDV supply base, and brought to the field with SDV supply vessel. SDV supply vessel also assists for off take operations, when tankers come to collect the oil produced by the FPSO.
