April 4, 2012 - SDV Vietnam and SDV Korea to Transport equipment for K-POP Festival

Korean Pop Music (K-POP) is getting popular in Asia Pacific.

This year the “Korea-Vietnam Festival” focused on “Korea-Vietnam Amity 20 years” in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Vietnam.
This festival, held on March 15th in Hanoi, was leading by KBS (Korean Broadcasting Service) and VTV (Vietnam TV) supported by the Korean Embassy in Vietnam.


	SDV Korea airfreighted about 4 tons of broadcasting and lighting equipment to this event. This material was then sent back to Korea after the show. In order to meet the deadline, SDV Vietnam committed a team of 6 people to this project. The team organized special temporary import customs clearance and temporary storage. Because of special road regulations in Hanoi, the convoy could deliver the material to the National Convention Center only at night, between 11:00 PM and 02:00 AM. The team took care also of the onsite operations such as unloading and reloading the equipment after the show and during the night. Finally, they managed the export clearance and air shipment back to Korea. The organizers are expecting to implement this kind of events all over Asia and even beyond!
