Jan 30, 2012 - Machdar Motorsport in good collaboration with SDV India & SDV Fairs & Events are on Their Marks for the i1 Super Series

The i1 Super Series is a new motorsport league and consist of ten races with nine teams representing different Indian cities. The inaugural i1 Supercar Series season is running from January to April 2012 in Doha (Qatar), Bahrain, Abu Dhabi (UAE) Dubai (UAE) and New Delhi (India).

Machdar Motorsports, the promoters of the inaugural i1 Supercar Series awarded SDV Fairs & Events to deliver 18 racing cars, spares, tools and tyres from the UK to the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, where the pre-season tests were organized on December 2011.

In addition, 27 racing cars and accessories have to be airlifted from one race course to another during this inaugural championship. It represents about 66 tons of material to be loaded every time. First load consisted on one charter flght ex UK.

These operations, initiated in India by SDV India / Coimbatore branch and successfuly managed by SDV Fairs & Events, leveraging on our local subsidiaries in UK and UAE in particular are putting the cars on track each time.

At the end of the season, the cars and the material will be stored in a secured warehouse, rented by SDV UAE and located in the Free Trade Zone area in Dubai.
