August 23 2011 - Amatransit to Launch the First LCL Service from Asia to New Caledonia

Amatransit in Nouméa, a subsidiary of SDV, has recently set up new LCL services to connect the main ports in Asia to New Caledonia. All these origins are supported by our hub in Singapore which becomes the main Asia gateway to connect the area wide origins to this final destination.

“Thanks to this direct LCL lane, Amatransit is now the first freight forwarder in New Caledonia for consumer goods imports from Asia. By expanding our services, we make doing business easier whilst reducing transit times, freight cost as well as carbon emissions” said Franck Ricard, Managing Director of Amatransit.


	The service is used by customers across many industries as it offers greater flexibility in the management of supply-chains by being able to ship smaller quantities on a definite time basis. Amatransit and SDV get Asia closer to New Caledonia. This new service is completed by the existing groupage offer from Northern Europe, Italy, Australia and New Zealand to this Pacific island.
