May 10, 2011- SDV in Korea Wins the Tender to Manage the Logistics of a World’s Leading Fashion Brand

On January 2011, one of the world’s most coveted haute couture designer and producer issued a call for tender to optimize its logistics strategy and execution in Korea.
After a two months selection process, this famous French couture house assigned the provision of local logistics services and cross-countries transfers to SDV in Korea.
To achieve this new contract with success, SDV built a dedicated high value items storage room equipped with the highest security standards: 24/24 CCTV, access card, movement captors, temperature/humidity control: 15~25 C / 40%~70%. This one is located right next to the existing warehouse.
SDV signed a one year contract, renewable, started on April 1, 2011 including the following logistics services:

- Boutiques direct fulfillment: SDV
- Warehousing (rack, shelving, garment on hangers), handling and local transportation
- Event promotions / Fashion shows / Seasonal Sale arrangement
- Intra-Asia transfers preparation and freight forwarding

The outlook for fashion in South Korea within the following years will be dominated more than ever by the international luxury brands; therefore, it is a great opportunity for SDV to extend the agreement by providing its genuine expertise to these demanding customers.
