Apr 1, 2011 - New SDV Organization in the Pacific Region

Due to proximity and development reasons, SDV- Amatransit in New Caledonia became part of the Asia Pacific perimeter since March 1st 2011. Franck Ricard is appointed Managing Director of this subsidiary. SDV Asia Pacific is now composed of 18 countries.
In view of this add-on, its particularities and in order to capitalize on that opportunity to boost our developments in that part of the world, we have created a new sub-region “Pacific” within SDV Asia Pacific. This sub region covered New Caledonia, Australia and New Zealand entities as well as our targeted developments in Papua New Guinea and other Pacific Islands.


	To lead the new Pacific sub region, Stephane Armand, 42, has joined SDV as Director – Pacific based at the Sydney office. Stephane spent fourteen years in total with the Bolloré group with eight years with Delmas in South Africa and Singapore. He has been based in Australia for the last six years heading various project liners and chartering operations. His strong knowledge of this geographical area combined with his experience in the project mining fields will definitely be key attribute in his new position.
