SDV – along with the Grand Port Maritime of Le Havre, the Customs’ authorities, UBI FRANCE and the International Industry Chamber of Commerce of the Haute Normandie region - organized on the 18th of march a Conference attended by 80 importers and exporters on the theme : “Develop your sales relationships with India”.

Eastbound trade volumes are not yet very significant but despite the economical crisis, westbound traffic has increased of more than 50% between 2008 and 2009: it jumped from 31 000 to 47 000 TEUs ( mainly with shoe ware and textile).
