. 1885: Creation of SCAC (Société Commerciale d’Affrètements et de Commission)
. 1965: Opening of initial offices in Asia and the USA
. 1986: Acquisition of SCAC by the Bolloré Group
. 1992: Acquisition of Transcap and TTA

2008: Acquisition of SAEL in South Africa and creation of SDV UAE (Dubai). 
2009: Acquisition of Europacific in Australia.
          Opening of the SDV subsidiaries in Bangladesh and Pakistan.
2010: Opening of the SDV subsidiary in Poland
2012: Acquisition of Fast (France, Italy, Libanon)
2012: Opening of an office in Fukuoka (Japan)
2013: Opening of the SDV subsidiary in Norway
          Acquisition of Safcomar in Switzerland  and creation of SDV Suisse
          Opening of the SDV subsidiary in Colombia
